John joined RE:SURE in 2012. John is a qualified Mechanical Engineer to Masters level and also completed his MBA in Smurfit UCD in 2011.
Prior to joining RE:SURE, John worked first as a consulting engineer, before moving on to be an Engineering Manager in Dublin Bus. John is fluent in Spanish, having picked this up while playing rugby in Argentina, where he also worked as a Fire Risk Insurance Analyst. John also worked briefly for Ernst and Young as a Management Consultant, before taking the leap when RE:SURE opportunity arose.
John is driven by the provision of world class customer service in CCTV Monitoring, something that RE:SURE views as still a very much an evolving service. An innovator by nature, John was the key driver behind RE:SURE I/O and continues to push the boundaries with what can be achieved with it. In his position of MD, John ensures that the customer is relentlessly at the core of all procedures and policies. John is acknowledged as an industry leader in CCTV monitoring and intruder detection.
Emmet joined RE:SURE in 2013 as Executive Director. After graduating with a primary BA degree from UCD, Emmet went back to study business, completing his Post Grad Diploma in Business followed by a Masters in Marketing Management in Smurfit UCD.
Having carried out an internship in the US Senate in Washington D.C., Emmet returned to Ireland where he initially worked in European Regulation before moving to commercial roles and working on several multi-million Euro deals for Scanveco and Chrysler Ireland. Prior to joining RE:SURE he was Operations Manager for Saab Ireland.
Emmet’s role in RE:SURE’s is focused on commercial growth, both via organic sales and through strategic investments. He acts as a trusted advisor to all of our customers, on both the retail and wholesale fronts.
Jason joined RE:SURE in September 2020, bringing a wealth of experience from similar roles in various spheres including Electronic Security, IT, Telecommunications, Software Development and 3D Printing.
After completing his Electronic Engineering degree in Queens University Belfast, Jason immediately founded 3 separate technology companies, selling all of them 8 years later to various buyers including the 6th oldest company on the London Stock Exchange. This lead to a re-location to Staffordshire and on completion of the acquisition phases, that same parent company then approached Jason to head up yet another start-up, resulting in a 6 year journey in 3D Printing.
In 2020,the opportunity to join RE:SURE at arose at the same time as Jason’s desire to bring his family back home. Jason brings a passion for excellence which is fully aligned with RE:SURE core values of delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Yvonne joined RE:SURE in 2020 as our Customer Service Account Manager and was promoted later that same year to the position of ARC Manager. Yvonne brings over 12 years of customer service experience and expertise from a high-end retail firm.
Prior to joining RE:SURE Yvonne had a successful career with her previous firm working her way through the ranks to become head of operations. She helped improve and develop customer service together with driving compliance through quality assurance, health and safety assessments and staff mentoring and coaching. Yvonne is highly driven on personal and team performance and passionate about continual improvement day by day, always searching for better!
Technical Support Manager
Having lived, worked and studied in Germany, Scotland, England & Northern Ireland, Alan has both breadth and depth of experience. With over 20 years of IT experience to draw upon, Alan is one of the longest-serving members of the RE:SURE team.
Alan studied science at the University of Paisley, before later continuing his studies at the Cisco Networking Academy. He joined RE:SURE in 2014 as a CCTV Operative, whilst and also running his own specialist IT company. As the company grew, he quickly worked his way up through the ranks to that of Technical Manager.
As well as a self-confessed love for all things tech and internet-based, he is an expert in CCTV Video Analytics configuration and our Sentinel monitoring platform. Alan is recognised within the industry as an expert in remote networking and for his overall troubleshooting ability.
Technical Support and Internal Projects
Helen studied Computer Science at Queens University Belfast, during which time she spent 14 months on student placement with Microsoft in Dublin. Following graduation, Helen worked for PWC in both Liverpool and Belfast as an Auditing Consultant in their Pension Review project.
Upon returning to Northern Ireland, Helen then spent 12 years working in the Civil Service, primarily based in Human Resources within the Department for Social Development, working specifically on vacancy management and Manpower Planning.
With the company in full growth mode, she joined RE:SURE in the newly created position of Project Manager in May 2016. Renowned as an outside-the-box thinker and expert in “big data” assimilation, Helen is charged with our CRM programming and integration, customer reporting via Sentinel, and new site CCTV technical configuration.
Technical Support Specialist
Kyle has over 10 Years of technical and hardware experience. Kyle left a Tesco night management role to join RE:SURE in early 2017. Initially joining as a CCTV Operative, he also progressed quickly through the team, from Public Space Surveillance to Core Operative and then onto Senior Operative within 5 months of being in the company.
Kyle was promoted to Technical Support Specialist in late 2018, as the Technical Support Team expanded to three full-time staff. Having “a thing” for technology and building computers as a past time, this role has suited Kyle down the ground. Kyle’s role involves hardware configuration and quality assurance prior to dispatch to sites. He is also charged with False Activation Management and works alongside Helen and Alan in new CCTV site configuration.
Internal Key Account Manager
Mary-T joined with RE:SURE in October 2019 and brings with her a vast amount of customer service qualities, having graduated from Queens University with a BSc (Hons) in Maths. After securing a PGCE in the same field, Mary T started her professional career within teaching where she gained some valuable skills and qualities.
Mary-T would later move away from teaching and into a logistical role at H&A Mechanical Services. Here she started to really develop her skills within the customer service industry whilst managing a staff force in excess of 20 engineers. Looking for her next challenge, Mary-T started as a customer service agent at RE:SURE, quickly impressing and promoted accordingly to Customer Service Account Manager in February 2020.
Mary T has an impressive ability to keep many balls in the air at the same time and plays a pivotal role in the day to day customer service experience for our end users by quickly and accurately resolving any problems that appear. Something of a perfectionist, Mary T has an amazing drive, consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience for all of our clients.
Internal Key Account Manager
Emma joined RE:SURE as an ARC Operative initially in October 2016 and quickly progressed from Public Space Surveillance to Core Operative and onto Senior Operative.
As the company continued to grow, and the company began to focus on second line customer support, in early 2018 became the first ever Customer Support Specialist. After leaving the company in October 2019 for a sabatical to travel to New Zealand, the company was delighted to welcome Emma back into the company in September 2020 as part of an expanded team.
Emma works hand in hand with our installation companies to commission all new sites and working alongside our customers to ensure any requests and issues are quickly dealth with. Her outgoing personality and attention to detail, linked with her deep insight into RE:SURE’s core workings, means that Emma is the ideal fit for such a role.
In this role Emma looks after all customer requests and queries, ranging from remote troubleshooting for issues with both apps, RE:SURE GO and RE:SURE I/O, to liaising with our installation partners regarding service requests. Emma also plays a key role in the smooth onboarding of new sites and clients.
Originally from South East England, Melanie relocated to Northern Ireland in 2004. Originally graduating in Law (LL.B (Hons)), Melanie worked in a Legal Practice in Kent for 5 years, before deciding to make a career switch to finance.
Since starting off in Credit Control in Westland Horticulture upon her arrival in Northern Ireland, Melanie has gained over 15 years experience in Accountancy, Audit, and Insolvency, and has undertaken a number of professional exams in these areas. Before joining RE:SURE in 2017, she spent 12 years in Cavanagh-Kelly.
In RE:SURE she has day to day management of the finance and accounting function, working in accounts receivable, management reports preparation, and general budgeting. She has been instrumental in the process change and control as the company has continued to show double-digit growth.
Sinead spent her early years living and working in New York where she gained invaluable life experiences. Sinead comes from a strong HR background working within the Fashion Industry for over 10 years as HR Manager her duties encompassed projects as diverse as formal employee/trade union consultations, assisting in the establishment of retail department, reshaping various departments and teams with day to day duties including employee counselling, conducting disciplinary and grievance investigations and meetings, monitoring returns and all associated reporting functions.
After a career break during which she focused on rearing her young family, Sinead decided to take up a new challenge, so she took the leap into finance, and after a few years in a variety of such roles, joined RE:SURE in early 2018. Her primary focus on Credit Control.
Sinead is an expert in customer relationship management and has built up close relationships with all RE:SURE’s customers, with an unnatural ability to keep calm under pressure and in dispute resolution.
Business Development Manager
Wesley is an experienced, commercially aware field sales executive with a strong track record of customer service management and with significant background in account management. With over 12 years of sales’ experience, he has developed a strong reputation with all his clients for his dedication to customer satisfaction.
Having joined RE:SURE in mid-2018, Wesley has brought his considerable sales experience and insight from his years in multi-nationals such as Lyreco and Capco. Wesley is a highly skilled communicator and enjoys an ongoing, renewed and positive relationships with clients, both old and new.
Wesley joined RE:SURE to expand the installation partner network and at the same time use those strong relationships to develop business via his vast network of contacts.
Site Support Manager
Mike has accumulated over 30 years of experience in the private security industry, ranging from installation to man guarding and keyholding response, and now in remote monitoring. Mike studied Engineering Trinity (BE) and the University of Bangor (BS).
With his electrical engineering experience and entrepreneurial spirit, Mike got in at the start of the newly evolving alarm industry, establishing Sonic Alarms in 1986, before selling it ten years later. After Sonic, Mike spotted another niche in the market, setting up Force 10, a company that specialised in bring the whole security package of man guarding and key holding, CCTV and Alarm monitoring to customers focused in and around the Sandyford region. Mike sucecssfully once again exited, selling Force 10 in 2015. Mike then worked with Chubb prior to joining RE:SURE.
With RE:SURE, Mike works in a role to help troubleshoot RE:SRUE system specific on-site issues with and for our partners. Mike is at the forefront of the pushing of new technologies into the RE:SURE portfolio of offerings.
Business Development Manager
A Wicklow native, Ray brings over 30 years’ Sales experience dealing with SME and Corporate companies. Prior to its sale, he owed and ran The Recycling Company. Ray joined RE:SURE in early 2018. Since then he has built up strong trusting relationships with his clients.
Ray is highly focused on customer satisfaction and develops long lasting relationships with all his clients by providing bespoke solutions to answer each customer’s particular needs.
With RE:SURE, Ray has won multi-site contracts in Transportation, Plant, Facilities and Construction. He also works with SME owners where he uses his considerable understanding of the importance of budgets and developing cost-effective solutions to get solutions that work for them.
A keen golfer, with a handicap of 3, when not working with clients, Ray can be found on the golf courses of Ireland.
Senior Business Development Manager - NI & GB
Mark joined RE:SURE in April 2021, after having worked extensively in a sales environment for over 20 years in various roles and markets.
Prior to joining RE:SURE, he worked for another CCTV Monitoring company for almost a decade, where he had responsiblity for the Design/Sales/Account Management of Remotely Monitored CCTV Systems and additional services for the construction industry to secure projects during all aspects of the construction Phase.
I have been fortunate enough to have worked with some of the Construction Industry’s market leading companies and on high profile projects. These projects have varied in size from £1 Million – £1 Billion with a large amount of responsibility placed on ensuring the security systems worked in keeping the sites secure and ultimately reducing theft, criminal damage, and potential for loss/damage/injury.
In RE:SURE, Mark is focused on bringing RE:SURE’s solutions to our growing array of install partners in Northern Ireland, working in a technical and sales support role for his partners.
